Establish who can offer the lot
Obtain authorization from the owner before offering pallets. Photograph rental, pool or supplier markings and keep uncertain ownership separate from transferable stock. Material stored at a business may still belong to another party.
Build a count that survives inspection
Group actual footprints and visible conditions. For a large stack, explain how you estimated the count and which parts could not be inspected. Share representative photographs and label any uncertainty instead of describing the whole lot as uniform.
Write down the collection constraints
Describe the island, collection area, loading equipment, appointment window and whether the receiver must take every piece. Confirm the offer is still available before dispatch. Sale value and collection feasibility depend on the inspected material and the complete move.
Keep these questions together
- Sort common sizes
- Remove contamination
- Photograph representative stacks
